How to beat bullying

Bullying. We have all heard the word, but do we really know what it means? The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (2018) vaguely defines bullying as unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance that causes distress or harm in the child being bullied. In reading that definition, we may conclude that bullying is some form of aggressive physical behavior towards another.

MEDCOM CSM visits Winn-Tuttle

Command Sgt. Maj. Michael Gragg, the 19th Army Medical Command's Command Sergeant Major, visited with the Soldiers and Civilians at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield March 13. During his day-long visit Gragg met with senior and junior enlisted Soldiers, presented Command Sergeant Major Coins to deserving Soldiers and Civilians, toured Winn Army Community Hospital's various departments, the Dental Health Activity Headquarters and the Tuttle Army Health Clinic. Gragg's focus was to let the staff know how important they individually are to the MEDCOM mission ... "One team. One purpose."

Pregnancy program earns certification

The nation-wide Centering Pregnancy program has been in full operation since March 28, 2017, at U.S. Army Medical Department Activity-Fort Stewart, at Winn Army Community Hospital.
