MEDCOM CSM visits Winn-Tuttle

Command Sgt. Maj. Michael Gragg, the 19th Army Medical Command's Command Sergeant Major, visited with the Soldiers and Civilians at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield March 13. During his day-long visit Gragg met with senior and junior enlisted Soldiers, presented Command Sergeant Major Coins to deserving Soldiers and Civilians, toured Winn Army Community Hospital's various departments, the Dental Health Activity Headquarters and the Tuttle Army Health Clinic. Gragg's focus was to let the staff know how important they individually are to the MEDCOM mission ... "One team. One purpose."

Soldiers practice for Best Ranger

Soldiers 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, practiced at the Darby Queen obstacle course March 2, at Fort Benning, Ga. The Soldiers are scheduled to compete in the 2018 Best Ranger Competition Apr. 13-15. Display update takes flight

Fort Stewart's main gate static display was updated on Feb. 26 with an OH-58 Kiowa. The AH-1 Cobra that was on display is now at the 3rd Infantry Division Museum. Swapping the helicopters on the static display brings it more up-to-date with vehicles that have recently served or continue to serve in the division's formations. The Kiowa was retired from service at Hunter Army Airfield's 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade in May 2015. MASCAL exercise trains first responders

Firefighters, Emergency Medical Service specialits and military police were among the first responders to mass casualty training exercise, Feb. 26, on Fort Stewart. During the event, emergency responsders had to react to a vehilce rollover simulation in a field environment. During the response, the 385th Military Police battalion Soldiers worked hand-in-hand with other Fort Stewart first responders in examining multiple casualties, and provide medical assistance.
