Army Combat Fitness Test set to become new PT test of record

3rd MP Group (CID) changes command

In a ceremony at the parade field on Hunter Army Airfield June 22, Col. Darcy L. Overbey assumed command of the 3rd Military Police Group (Criminal Investigation Division) from Col. Joseph F. DeCosta. The 3rd MP Group (CID) is responsible for all felony criminal investigation matters with U.S. Army interest throughout an area of operation encompassing the eastern half of the United States, the Caribbean, Central America (less Mexico), South America, Africa and Europe. Overbey arrives from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, where she served as the Operations Officer for Joint Task Force - Guantanamo Bay.

USCG changes command

Before a large crowd of family, friends and fellow service members in the USCG Air Station Savannah hangar, outgoing commanding officer Capt. Marshall Branch said, "Leading the amazing, talented crew of Coast Guard Air Station Savannah has been the most fulfilling opportunity of my career." During the change of command ceremony June 22, Cmdr. Brian Erickson assumed command of the air station that has as its primary mission conducting search and rescue operations from the North Carolina-South Carolina border to the north to Melbourne, Fla., to the south.
