Representatives of the Alee Shriners of Savannah hand a member of the USCG Air Station Savannah a chicken dinner at Hunter Army Airfield May 4.  The dinner was one of 1,000 the Shriners donated to Service Members based on Hunter.  Fifty-five Shriners began grilling the chicken at 11 p.m. the evening of May 3 and continued cooking throughout the morning the following day.  "It's an honor to donate these dinners as a token of appreciation to the men and women who risk everything for the community," said Billy Phillips, past potentate and current chairman of the chicken dinner committee.  "This event exemplifies the tremendous relationship that exists between the community of Savannah and Coastal Georgia, " said Lt. Col. Ken Dwyer, Hunter garrison commander.  Some service members took multiple dinners home to their Families.  "It says a lot for them to do this," said Spc. Secheangel Richardson, a Soldier assigned to the 603rd Aviation Support Battalion, 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division.
